The field of aging is rapidly evolving. With advancing technologies, care models, and healthcare, there is a growing need for Maryland professionals to remain knowledgeable of the most relevant gerontology issues and industry trends. Join MGA each month for a member only Coffee Break with MGA speakers’ series. Attendees will participate in a 30-minute interactive conversation with community influencers and local disruptors who are at the forefront of innovative care solutions and strategies.

As Sr. Director, Clinical Care Transformation, Jeanne DeCosmo BSN, MBA, supports system-level value-based care initiatives to achieve the quadruple aim. Prior to joining MedStar Health, Jeanne served as Director of Workforce Development and VP Quality Policy and Advocacy at the Maryland Hospital Association. There she led numerous state-wide quality improvement efforts to reduce healthcare associated infections, served as a lead for the Nurse Retention Collaborative and established a Baltimore satellite site to support the transition of foreign-trained health professional to acute care employment.  She received her BSN from the University of Maryland School of Nursing and her MBA at Hood College in Frederick Maryland.  Recognitions include:
